Zolani Tete

Two‑time world champion boxer Zolani Tete was killed in an ambush outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape. South Africa’s minister of sport, Gayton McKenzie, condemned the killing, calling Tete one of the finest fighters the country has produced. The incident has prompted a major police investigation.
