Zheng Qinwen

Chinese tennis star Zheng Qinwen has withdrawn from the Hong Kong Open, marking her third consecutive tournament exit since winning the China Open title. Ongoing fitness concerns and fatigue after a demanding schedule, including the US Open and Billie Jean King Cup, have forced her to sit out, raising worries about her health.

Zheng Qinwen, the 23‑year‑old Chinese Olympic champion, rallied from a 5‑0 deficit in the first set to beat former champion Iga Swiatek at the US Open. The 7‑5, 6‑3 victory sends her into the quarter‑finals, extending her New York winning streak to seven matches.
