Smoothy Set to Leave Wakefield for Inaugural Perth Bears Move
Wakefield Trinity have confirmed that hooker Tyson Smoothy will depart the club to join the inaugural Perth Bears in the NRL. The 27‑year‑old Australian is being released on compassionate grounds, allowing him to return home for family reasons. The move also sees him linked up with fellow signings James McDonnell, Harry Nerwman and Mikolaj Oledzki for the Bears’ first season.
