British tennis player Jack Draper ended his 2026 season early after a bone bruise in his left arm forced him out of competition. In an interview with Bagel Magazine, he warned that the current ATP Tour schedule endangers a generation of players and said he will manage his future tournament schedule to ensure career longevity.
British tennis star Andy Murray said Jack Draper aims to return to the court at the beginning of 2027 after a season‑ending injury, but a wildcard entry to the Australian Open is not a priority. Murray also detailed his limited coaching involvement with Draper and the challenges of the player’s rehabilitation.
Former world number four Jack Draper will miss the remainder of the 2026 season after suffering bone bruising in his serving arm. He aims to recover and return to the ATP Tour at the start of 2027, with support from coaches Andy Murray, James Trotman and Alex Lisiecki.
