Ipswich Town have bolstered their squad for the upcoming Premier League season by paying a reported £20 million to bring Ghana international Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City. The 22‑year‑old signs a five‑year deal and joins a side that finished second in the Championship last season.

Ipswich Town appoint Gary O’Neil as their new manager on a three-year deal. O’Neil replaces Kieran McKenna and joins from Strasbourg. He will be joined by coaches Tim Jenkins and Neil Critchley.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Gary O’Neil are among the leading candidates to become Ipswich Town’s new manager. Solskjaer managed Manchester United from 2018-2021 and has been out of management since then.
