FA Chair Demands FIFA Release World Cup Stake Sale Documents and Explain Balogun Suspension Reversal

The Football Association chair Debbie Hewitt has written to FIFA demanding that Gianni Infantino disclose all documents concerning the aborted FIFA Forward Enterprise plan to sell a 21% stake in World Cup commercial rights. The letter also seeks an explanation for the reversal of US striker Folarin Balogun’s World Cup suspension.

FA Doubles Down on Discrimination with Tough New 10-Match Ban Rule

The Football Association has raised the minimum suspension for discrimination offences to ten matches for the upcoming season, applying to players, managers and technical staff. The change is part of the FA’s pledge to deliver a game free from discrimination and allows for longer bans in aggravated cases.
