Irish Running Star Mageean Battles Stage Four Bowel Cancer with Determination and Hope
Ciara Mageean, a two-time Olympian and European champion, was diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in May 2025. She has undergone 18 rounds of chemotherapy and is now waiting for scan results to determine her life expectancy.
