AFC Bournemouth have reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of 22‑year‑old Portuguese centre‑back Antonio Silva, valued at up to £26 million. The signing is intended to replace Marcos Senesi, who left for Tottenham, and follows the club’s recent acquisition of striker Alvaro Rodriguez.
