Welsh Heptathlete Pawlett Withdraws from Commonwealth Games Due to Achilles Injury
Welsh heptathlete Abi Pawlett has withdrawn from the Commonwealth Games heptathlon after struggling with an Achilles injury that also forced her out of the World Indoor Championships. She will still compete in the 200 m sprint in Glasgow, while fellow Welsh sprinter Hannah Brier missed selection.
