Keely Hodgkinson withdrew from the 400m final at the UK Athletics Championships due to a minor injury. She was emotional as she stepped off the track before the race. Amber Anning won the 400m title in 50.16 seconds.
Zharnel Hughes wins the men’s 200m title at the UK Athletics Championships with a championship record time of 20.04. This event took place at the UK Athletics Championships.
Andy Murray is joining Jack Draper’s coaching team for the grass-court season, Murray announced in an interview with BBC Sport. Murray had been enjoying life outside tennis but was tempted back by Draper’s request.
Melissa Mullins, a British MMA fighter, lost to Bia Mesquita in the UFC. Mullins had a strong start but was submitted in the first round via armbar. This was Mullins’ return to the UFC after a difficult experience at UFC London.
