Ashleigh Neville has completed her transfer to Charlton Athletic on a two-year contract, marking a fresh chapter for the full-back following her departure from Leicester City.
The move reunites Neville with manager Karen Hills, who previously worked together at Tottenham. Speaking on her switch to the newly-promoted club, Neville expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunity. “It’s an exciting journey for myself and the club so I’m really happy to be here,” she said.
Leicester Complete Irish Signings
While Neville departs Leicester, the Foxes have moved swiftly to strengthen their roster. The East Midlands club has completed the signings of Irish internationals Jessie Stapleton and Jessica Ziu.
Stapleton, a defender, has committed to a three-year deal with Leicester. Midfielder Ziu, meanwhile, has penned a two-year contract with the club, as Leicester look to build on their squad depth following the summer window.
